Matt Mason

Matt Mason is the co-founder and owner of Southern Insurance Brokers, LLC. A Paulding County resident since 2011, he has spent more than a decade helping local families and businesses protect what matters most. Matt earned his Property and Casualty license in 2013 and added Health and Life in 2015, then built and led his own insurance agency in the years that followed. In 2026, Matt and his wife, Brooke, launched Southern Insurance Brokers as an independent agency. After years representing a single captive carrier, going independent lets them shop multiple companies and match each client with the right coverage at the right price rather than being limited to one provider. That client-first approach is the heart of the agency's promise. Outside the office, Matt is a past president of the Rotary Club of Paulding County, a longtime supporter of CAYA Ministries, and an active member of West Ridge Church. He and Brooke are foster and adoptive parents to their two children, Elle and MJ.
Brooke Mason
Co-Founder & Office Manager
Brooke Mason is the co-founder and office manager of Southern Insurance Brokers, LLC. Licensed in both Property and Casualty and Health and Life, Brooke keeps the agency running day to day and is often the first friendly voice clients hear when they call. She brings the same care to her work that she brings to everything: a genuine desire to look after the people around her. Brooke's heart for the community runs deep, especially for children and families. She is a founding member of the Paulding Social Services Committee and a former board member, now auxiliary member, of Paulding County DFCS. In 2022, after seeing how many foster children went without gifts during the holidays, she organized an effort to pair community members with local foster kids at Christmas. She has led it every year since, and the program has provided gifts to more than 400 children and raised over $50,000. She and her husband, Matt, have been foster and adoptive parents since 2017 and are proud parents to Elle and MJ. For Brooke, taking care of Southern Insurance Brokers' clients is simply an extension of the way she already lives: showing up for her neighbors
